The Votes are in….
GMB members working at Sandwell Leisure Trust have voted in favour of industrial action over plans to attack Terms and Conditions, including pay.
over 75% of members have voted to take part in strike action, sending a clear message to their employer.
Justine Jones, GMB Regional Organiser said
“You can not gamble with workers’ livelihoods like this, these are hardworking people and after months of threats are now fighting back”
GMB Union remain committed to resolving this dispute and welcome talks to avoid strike action, but will be meeting with members shortly to plan details of the forthcoming strike if no resolution can be found.
