GMB Sandwell officers today attended the official opening of the campaign headquarters of Halesowen and Rowley Regis Labour parliamentary candidate Stephanie Peacock and we are very proud to support her campaign to Westminster.
Stephanie is a GMB member and is currently working at GMB Birmingham & West Midlands as our Political Officer. she has organised many local campaigns in Halesowen and Rowley Regis, from leading the protests in Halesowen opposing the bedroom tax, campaigning against inflation busting rail fare rises to demanding the repair of the broken level crossing in Cradley Heath.
Stephanie joined the Labour Party in Halesowen, aged 15, and quickly rose to prominence serving on the National Executive Committee, the governing body of the Labour Party. She worked and campaigned for former Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP Sylvia Heal for five years.
